Here’s this week’s list of recommended reading from the EricCressey.com archives:

The Proactive Patient – This is still, in my eyes, one of the best articles I’ve ever written.

The 315 Deadlift Fiasco – This article, on the other hand, pissed a few people off.  There were good lessons to be learned, though.

Why I Don’t Like the 5×5 Workout – While the classic 5×5 set and rep scheme certainly has its place in some strength training programs, it definitely has its limitations.

    I’m a 30yr old, 5’11, 160 lb ecto with long femurs.
    While 315 may not be “inspirational” to powerlifters, i was still pretty happy when i got there.
