EC Talks Transfer of Training for Baseball Players
Written on October 9, 2012 at 5:35 am, by Eric Cressey
Back in July, I presented at the NSCA National Conferences in Providence, RI. My topic was “Individualizing the Management of Overhead Throwers: How to Spot What Your Throwers Need.” The NSCA films all the presentations, and this excerpt was just made available online, in case you’d be interested in checking it out. You can access this video HERE. A special thanks to the NSCA for making this available online.

Eric:
You are a great speaker and wise beyond your years. The NSCA did great job inviting you to speak and your clients are lucky to have great coach/trainer at their side. Keep it up.
Have you ever thought about working torward your PhD and you too becoming one of the fine professors like the guys that taught you at UConn?
For still being a young guy, I can see you being one of those PhD’s on the Board of Directors at NSCA or running a college exercise science/physiology program one day.
Once again, great job!
Regards,
Tom

Thanks, Tom! Have considered a PhD at some point, but I don’t think it will fit as part of my professional goals for a long time. Too many competing demands! I do, however, enjoy teaching at seminars – and I plan to get back into research in the near future.
