Just listened to the interview and I must say – thank you Eric!
Tons of fantastic information and advice. While I’m still a ways away from opening a facility, it’s definitely a resource that made me think about a lot of important details to consider in coaching and business. Right now my focus is on becoming a more knowledgeable and quality coach and doing things the right way for the right reasons. I sincerely appreciate your role in my development and hope to have the honor of interning at Cressey Performance in the future.
All the best,
Kasey

I’m about to open my own Personal/strength training place and just listened to your interview it was great thx.
I just have one question. Did you hire your trainers or are they working freelance?. If you ‘ve hired them do they work on commission bases . Or do you have another system to get things going and build up from there? thx

Sander,
All our staff are employees. Will never have an independent contractor trainer working in my facility.

Thanks, Kasey! You’ve got the right mindset for sure.
Keep in mind that almost all of these tips can be applied whether you want to open your own facility, or simply grow a clientele as an employee or independent contractor.
